PROJECTS - SUTHERLAND COURT -

DESCRIPTION: ATTIC CONVERSION

PROJECT LOCATION: KY15

COMPLETED: SUMMER 2010

PROJECT INFORMATION:

This project involved creating an additional floor of accommodation to a delightful house in the historic Fife town of Ceres.

Imaginative design has resulted in a new truly spacious main lounge for the house. Dramatic views to the hills beyond are now captured and celebrated on a daily basis by the delighted clients via a ‘bank’ of six rooflights to one side of the development.

By incorporating large expanses of glazing on both sides of the development, along with the startegic position of a feature internal glazed screen, the natural light gained from the attic conversion can now spill down the new staircase into the existing house.

In addition to the main lounge, a contemporary WC and office have also been incorporated into the design.
